I always get the number #21 with an icee coffee. I'm never disappointed and I'm always waiting to waiting for the next time to get me another bowl! I usually get this bowl mixed with Cambodian noodles (basically large and small noodles) and I'm always satisfied. Can't wait to go back again for my favorite bowl!
CASH ONLY. This has not changed. Hit the ATM before you come. If you come over the weekend arrive closer to 11am to beat the rush because there is a line out the door by noon. A bowl of regular chow jew noodles is $15.75 now. Damn inflation. I'm still a loyal patron because this is still the best bowl of chow jew noodles in town.
I'm writing this post to let everyone know that prices vary from the menu. Mixing 2 types of noodles in your chow jew wonton noodle can turn a $16.75 bowl of noodles into a $21+ bowl. This was something we inquired about yesterday as we examined the different prices for 3 bowls of regular chow jew noodles.
This is a great noodle place with authentic chiu chow noodles. The braised duck with thick noodles is my favorite.
The OG noodle spot, with the best ho fun noodles. #21 no kidney, soup on the side, add honeycomb tripe, slather 3 spoons of that infamous hot sauce and *insert chef's kiss emoji* IYKYK.
My coworkers took me out here last week and I was not disappointed! We got lucky and didn't have to wait too long to get seated. It a small restaurant that was packed with locals from chinatown eating lunch. I see why this is a local gem and my coworkers told me this wasn't even their best. The food came out quick and the broth was so flavorful, it was a light and refreshing broth. They are generous with their meat and have different condiments available if you want to add it to your noodles. This dish reminds me of the ho fun I grew up eating. It was my first time trying kidney and I think i'm hooked. I'm definitely going to come back here. I cant wait to try the noodles again when the broth is at its peak, as my coworkers said.
My favorite place to get mi trieu chau. Fast service but may be hard to find parking in the area.
Whenever my dad goes to Oakland, he will always stop by this restaurant to bring us takeout. Their crispy noodle is so good. We recommend to our other friends and they all love it.
If I could give it 10 stars I would this is the best Phò place . I have been getting food from here since I was a kid , they sit you really fast and the food comes out fast as well . If you don't know what you want they usually help you out .I always get #21 BEST
Nostalgic and straight to the point. Love the noodle soups dry style (soup on the side), but it's delicious all around.
